Ajax Star Boy reaches Milestone just like Suarez, Sneijder

Ajax have a new star who is rubbing shoulders with Luis
Suarez and Wesley Sneijder.

Arkadiusz Milik initially joined Ajax on loan last season
before making his move permanent in a €2.8 million deal
from Bayer Leverkusen in April.

And the 21-year-old Poland international has quickly
become Ajax's star, having scored 11 goals in 21 Eredivisie
games last season, he's followed that up with nine in 19
league appearances so far this term.

Milik's strike in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Roda means that
he's moved to 30 goals and assists combined during his
time at Ajax, and only two players - Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and
Luis Suarez - have reached that milestone quicker.

30 - Arek Milik needed 40 games to reach 30 goals +
assists for @AFCAjax, the fastest since Luis Suárez
(33). Flow. pic.twitter.com/jAjYd0jsON

Suarez spent three and a half seasons at Ajax and finished
his time at the club with 81 goals from 110 appearances.

Sneijder, meanwhile, was developed by Ajax's academy
before making his debut in February 2003.

The 31-year-old midfielder, who is now at Galatasaray,
needed three seasons in order to reach 31 goals and
assists.

Pep has Chosen The EPL side He will Join - Lewandowski

Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski believes Pep
Guardiola has already decided which Premier League team
he will join next season.

The Spaniard has confirmed he will leave the Bavarian side
at the end of the season, but his destination has not been revealed.

Lewandowski has backed his boss to bring a new and
improved style to whichever English team he chooses to
manage, insisting that he will be prepared for the difference
to the Spanish and German leagues in which he has already
succeeded.

"I know Pep can improve a team in England," Lewandowski
told The Daily Mail . "I think he knows where he’s going and
he knows what he needs to do with the team he’s going to
so that they play much better.

"He will focus on technique and perhaps more possession
than is the norm in England. But Pep knows the Premier
League is different from the Spanish league or the
Bundesliga and I’m sure he can do something new in terms
of tactics and technique."

While Lewandowski has admitted he was sad to hear of
Pep's upcoming exit, he has put the feelings behind him in
order to finish the season strongly, as Bayern chase a
domestic and European treble.

"The first time I heard Pep’s decision I thought it was a
shame," the Pole added. "But after that, I knew I’d to come
here to train and play and I’m sure we’ll carry on in the
same direction with Pep right to the end of the season.

"It’s important for me to have a good second half of the
season. And if we do win something then we will celebrate
with Pep."

Canaldo is what They call me After FA Cup goal- Chambers

Calum Chambers is comparing himself to Cristiano Ronaldo
following his stunning goal in Arsenal’s 2-1 win over
Burnley, claims Alex Iwobi.

Chambers scored the opener in Saturday’s victory over the
Championship club which has fired the Gunners into the fifth
round of the FA Cup.

And Iwobi, who started in midfield for Arsene Wenger’s side,
has revealed how pleased Chambers was with his effort.

“Oh my gosh, he’s still talking about it now,” Iwobi told
Arsenal’s official website after the match.

In the showers, everyone was talking about it, he was like
‘yeah, Canaldo is what they call me now’.

If I scored a goal like that I’d be all over the place, I’d be
excited.

I Don't care about Winning Run but Scudetto- Allegri

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri says he does not care
about his side equaling the club's run of consecutive Serie
A victories, but praised their convincing display in Sunday's
4-0 win at Chievo.

Alvaro Morata scored twice in the first half at the Stadio
Marc'Antonio Bentegodi before Alex Sandro and Paul Pogba
completed the triumph in Verona.

It matched Juve's record run of 12 successive league
victories in a single season - set during 2013-14 - and
ensures they keep the pressure on Napoli in the title race.

Allegri was thrilled to see his side continue the recovery
from a woeful start to their Scudetto defence, but stressed
the winning streak does not impress him as he only cares
about winning the title.

"I do not care," he told reporters when asked for his thoughts
on his side's incredible form. "I'd like to go for 20 straight
wins, but even then maybe we would not win the Scudetto.

"The run is proving successful, although I did not expect it
happen so quickly. There are still 16 games left, but we are
in a good period and now we have to continue like this and
improve further.

"There is still room for individual growth, both mentally and
physically. Just see the final shot from Pogba, when he took
the long pass down and hit it hard and hit the crossbar when
he could have placed the ball.

"We must not forget what or where we were after 10 games.
That will remind us to keep the pressure high.

"The team played a good game from a technical point of
view and in terms of the intensity in our play.

"There was only one error in the finale, which needed some
great goalkeeping from Buffon, but it was a nice match."

Genoa are next up for Juve, who face Bayern Munich in the
last 16 of the Champions League and still have a Coppa
Italia semi-final second leg to come against Inter in March.

Shearer slams Fabregas "Pathetic" defending

Alan Shearer has criticised Cesc Fabregas for his "pathetic"
defending during Chelsea's FA Cup clash with MK Dons.
The Blues midfielder was beaten to the ball by Dean
Lewington in the build-up to the hosts' equaliser, with
Darren Potter's deflected effort looping over a helpless
Thibaut Courtois after Fabregas had lost the initial challenge.

And Shearer was far from impressed with Fabregas's role in
Guus Hiddink's side conceding the goal, telling BBC Sport :

"No, it [Fabregas failing to win the ball from Lewington] isn't
great defending at all and that's being polite.

"I'm sorry, the challenge from Fabregas, or the lack of it. I
don't care who you are. That's pathetic. You're 1-0 up and
you're trying to protect it and you've got a 50/50 ball and
you pull out of it there.

Shearer continued to lambast the Spaniard, suggesting that
the former Barcelona midfielder pulled out of a tackle and
indicating his belief that Fabregas' role as a playmaker does
not absolve him of tackling duty.

"There's no excuse for a professional footballer," the
Newcaslte United legend continued.

"I don't care whether you're good at tackling, bad at tackling.

You cannot pull out. That is actually pathetic. Lewington's
got 10 yards to travel to that ball and Fabregas has got
three yards. I don't like that."

Fabregas had come in for criticism from some quarters for
his performances at the beginning of the season, as Chelsea
slumped to the bottom half of the table and Jose Mourinho
was eventually sacked, leading to boos from the Stamford
Bridge faithful in the first home game following the
Portuguese coach's departure, against Sunderland.

In a strange season for the former Arsenal man, Fabregas
was also involved in a dispute with a steward, in which the
Stamford Bridge employee called the Chelsea player a
"snake", later losing his job because of the outburts.

Hiddink communicates unlike Jose - Mikel

John Obi Mikel has attributed Chelsea's mini-revival under
Guus Hiddink to his ability to communicate with his players,
something that he suggests Jose Mourinho lacked.

Mikel has established himself as a key figure in the Blues'
recent turnaround, completing five of the six Premier
League games since Hiddink took over having been very
much on the periphery under former manager Mourinho.

The champions are unbeaten since Hiddink's arrival and
Mikel believes it is down to the squad responding to their
new boss's ability to interact with his players.

The Nigerian confirmed that the mood at Stamford Bridge is
better than it was under Mourinho, telling BBC Sport : "Yes,
the mood is better, I think that's what [Hiddink] has brought
into the football club.

"He's so calm and so relaxed, just the way he
communicates with the players – and maybe that's what
the players felt they didn’t get from the previous manager
[Mourinho].

"Sometimes with players – not just because they're not
playing – you need to communicate with them, speak to
them, and don't just ignore them because players like to be
communicated to."

Norwich sign Bamford on loan from Chelsea

Norwich City have bolstered their attacking options by signing
Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford on loan until the end of the
season.

Bamford returned to Stamford Bridge after a loan spell at
Crystal Palace he described as "terrible" at the start of January,
and will now ply his trade at Carrow Road for the remainder of
the campaign.

The 22-year-old only made six Premier League appearances for
Palace, but is determined to fire relegation-threatened Norwich
to safety.

Bamford told Norwich's official website: "I'm really happy to be
here, and the sooner I'm able to get involved the better.

"That's what I want to do personally, but it's also about helping
Norwich to get the points required to stay in the league."

Manager Alex Neil added: "Patrick is a player who excelled last
season [on loan at Middlesbrough] and we are pleased to have
the opportunity to bring him in.

"He's a young forward determined to make his way in the game,
and adds competition for us at the top end of the pitch."

Javi Martinez calms serious injury fears

Reports claimed the midfielder, who has endured a torrid time in the treatment room, could miss the rest of the season with another knee injury, but the player himself has calme...

Bayern Munich midfielder Javi Martinez has moved to calm fears that he has suffered a potentially serious injury amid speculation he could miss Spain's Euro 2016 campaign.

The 27-year-old was left out of the matchday squad to face Hoffenheim on Sunday and conflicting reports in Germany and Spain suggested he could be out for between four weeks and three months after damaging a knee ligament again.

While Martinez has not offered a more accurate time frame on his recovery, he has stressed the problem is not a serious one and expects to make a return to action sooner than feared.

"Thank you all for caring! fortunately it's not a serious injury #Backsoon," he posted via his official Twitter account.

Bayern are struggling for defensive numbers, with Jerome Boateng having been ruled out for three months with a groin tear and Medhi Benatia still battling muscle problems after missing much of the campaign so far.

The German champions overcame their shortage of numbers against Hoffenheim by fielding midfielder Xabi Alonso alongside Holger Badstuber at the centre of defence on Saturday afternoon.

Gracias a todos por preocuparos!afortunadamente no es nada serio/Thank you all for caring! fortunately it's not a serious injury #Backsoon
